Indian Chef in Abu Dhabi


As an Indian Chef in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes for our restaurant. Your main duties will include preparing ingredients, cooking and presenting dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You must have a passion for Indian cuisine and be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring them accurately
- Cook food items according to recipes or personal judgement
- Present dishes in an attractive manner
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate with management when supplies are running low
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Train junior staff members on proper cooking techniques and recipes
- Follow all safety standards and regulations in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures used in Indian cuisine
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff members from different backgrounds
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Diploma or degree from a culinary institute is preferred
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
