Crane operator vacancy in Muscat Oman

Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects on construction sites or other project locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes (e.g. mobile, tower, overhead) according to job requirements and safety regulations
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Use hand signals or radio communication to direct crane movements
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure proper set up for safe lifting operations
- Safely lift and move heavy objects to designated locations as directed by the site supervisor or project manager
- Communicate with ground personnel to coordinate lifts and ensure safety of all individuals in the vicinity
- Keep accurate records of daily operations, including fuel consumption and equipment maintenance
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor or project manager
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols and equipment usage

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their operation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, load charts, and other technical documents related to crane operation
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for operating controls accurately
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month with free visa sponsorship and air ticket provided by the company.
