Junior Power Engineer


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Power Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nairobi. As a Junior Power Engineer, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of power systems. Your main responsibilities will include conducting analysis and simulations, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with project management tasks. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of power systems, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric systems
- Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize system performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to power systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers on projects and provide support as needed
- Assist with project management tasks such as creating schedules, coordinating with vendors, and preparing reports
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in renewable energy technology
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (or currently pursuing)
- Knowledge of power system design principles and renewable energy technologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use simulation software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with project management processes is an asset

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 900$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Nairobi but may require travel to project sites within Kenya.
