Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our luxury resort in Remish. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with our Food and Beverage Manager to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends
- Oversee all food preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met
- Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health codes
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop new concepts and special events
- Manage food cost control measures to achieve budgeted goals
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe specifications
- Conduct regular menu tastings with your team to ensure consistency
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, culinary techniques, and food safety practices
- Creativity in menu development while considering dietary restrictions or special requests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills
Education:
A degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required
Salary:
$1600/month
Location:
Remish, preferably for local candidates but open to international candidates willing to relocate.
