Head Chef for a Fine Dining Restaurant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia


We are a renowned fine dining restaurant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and we are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a skilled culinary professional with excellent leadership skills and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff management.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and timely service
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and performance
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management team to develop new menu items and promotions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative flair for developing new dishes while maintaining consistency in existing menu items
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef
- Fluent in Malayalam (preferred)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
