Welder (Contract)


We are in need of a skilled Welder to work on a contract basis in our company located in Isa Town. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in MIG and TIG welding techniques and knowledge of different types of metals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding methods
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
- Clean, prepare, and inspect metal surfaces before welding
- Weld components using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Flux Core Arc (FCAW), and Stick
- Ensure welds meet quality standards by conducting visual inspections
- Repair or replace damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques
- Follow safety procedures at all times to avoid accidents or injuries
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Familiarity with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality welds
- Ability to use various hand tools such as grinders, saws, drills, etc.
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work on a contract basis
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
