Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Remish. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced surveyors to assist with various tasks related to land surveying. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and operating surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS systems
- Collect and record data from surveys using appropriate software and tools
- Help with measuring, marking, and documenting points, lines, and elevations on land
- Perform basic calculations using surveying data
- Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in land surveying is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and software is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
- Good physical condition and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior surveyors

We offer competitive compensation starting at 1000$ per month, depending on experience. This position does not include accommodations.
