Junior Carpenter



We are seeking a skilled Junior Carpenter to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is an entry-level position suitable for someone without prior experience or formal training.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or templates
- Cut and shape materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using hand tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim using carpenter's hand tools and power tools
- Inspect work progress to ensure conformity with specifications
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety guidelines at all times while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Must have a valid work permit or be eligible for visa sponsorship in Israel
- Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Knowledge of carpentry equipment and materials
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if needed
- Attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred but not required
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry is a plus
