Industrial Painter

We are in need of a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in Nairobi. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other coatings to a variety of industrial surfaces such as equipment, machinery, and structures. Your main goal will be to ensure that these surfaces are properly prepared and painted according to industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
- Mix paint and other coatings to the desired color and consistency
- Apply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed
- Touch up any imperfections or mistakes in the paint job
- Follow safety procedures when handling paints and other chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in painting is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Painter
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be willing to work full-time without accommodation

Salary: 1700$ per month.
