Facade Technician



As a Facade Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing building facades. This includes working with different materials such as glass, metal, and stone to create stunning architectural features. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that the facade meets safety standards and aesthetic requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Installing new facades on buildings according to architectural plans
- Repairing damaged or deteriorating facades using appropriate materials and techniques
- Conducting regular inspections of existing facades to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs
- Maintaining and cleaning facades to preserve their appearance and functionality
- Collaborating with architects and engineers during the design process to ensure feasibility of facade plans
- Working with various types of materials, including glass, metal, stone, and composite panels
- Utilizing specialized equipment such as scaffolding, cranes, and rigging to safely install or repair facades at various heights
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in facade installation or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facade installation or maintenance
- Knowledge of different facade materials and their properties
- Familiarity with construction industry safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina for working at heights using specialized equipment
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members

Location: This position is located in Acre but may require travel to other cities within the country.

Salary: The starting salary for this position is $1500 per month.
