Formwork Specialist

Our construction company in Jerusalem is seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Specialist to join our team. As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling temporary structures that support concrete during the building process. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, steel or other materials according to specifications
- Assemble formwork using various tools and techniques
- Install necessary supports and braces to ensure stability of formwork
- Pour concrete into formwork and remove once it has set
- Repair or modify existing formwork as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on the job site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials used in formwork construction
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Preferred:
- Experience working with various types of formwork systems
- Experience working on large-scale projects
- Knowledge of safety procedures specific to formwork construction

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Jerusalem, Israel
