Contract Mason in Nizwa, Oman

Our contracting company is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and patios using various materials including brick, stone, and concrete. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in masonry work with the ability to read blueprints and use tools such as trowels and chisels. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates. The salary for this role is 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Measure and cut materials to fit specifications
- Lay bricks or stones in a pattern to create walls or structures
- Mix mortar and apply it evenly between bricks or stones
- Use hand tools such as trowels and chisels to shape and smooth materials
- Repair or replace damaged brick or stone work
- Ensure structures are level and plumb using levels and other tools
- Follow safety procedures while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mason or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, etc.
- Knowledge of different types of masonry materials including brick, stone, concrete, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Must have valid visa sponsorship for working in Oman
