We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. This is a full-time, on-site position with the added benefit of a free visa and ticket for candidates of any nationality.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Backup and restore databases as needed
- Develop and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Identify areas for improvement in database systems and implement solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in database management or administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl
