Restaurant Manager
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in Jerusalem. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, inventory, customer service, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation is not provided.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative tasks
- Develop and maintain efficient operating systems to ensure smooth operations
- Train and supervise staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Create schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Manage finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit maximization strategies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew (preferred)
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and customer service best practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for financial management purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Understanding of Kosher food preparation guidelines (preferred)
