As an Executive Chef in our upscale restaurant in Salalah, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. Your creativity and passion for food will be reflected in the quality and presentation of our dishes, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities according to our standards
- Create new and innovative menu items while also maintaining popular favorites
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to maintain budget
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and productivity
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for achieving sales goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Knowledge of kitchen best practices for cost control and sanitation standards
