Part-Time Biometric Passport Instrument Technician


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Instrument Technician to join our team in Beer-Sheva on a part-time basis. As a Biometric Passport Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the biometric passport machines used for processing passport applications. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our services.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on biometric passport machines, including cleaning, calibration, and replacement of parts
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with the machines
- Perform repairs as needed to keep the machines in working order
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities
- Train new employees on how to properly use and maintain the machines
- Stay updated on industry developments related to biometric technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of electronic systems
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Beer-Sheva, Israel. Preference will be given to candidates who already reside in or near this city.
