Experienced Seamstress in Nairobi

Are you an experienced seamstress looking for a new opportunity in Nairobi? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Seamstress. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for sewing, tailoring, and altering garments according to customer specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Seamstress in the fashion industry
- Proficient in hand and machine sewing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their care instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be based in Nairobi

Responsibilities:
- Consult with customers to understand their garment requirements
- Take accurate measurements and create patterns accordingly
- Cut, sew, stitch, hem, and finish garments using various techniques
- Alter or repair garments as needed
- Ensure quality control by checking completed garments for any defects
- Organize work area and maintain sewing equipment
- Collaborate with other team members on special projects or orders
