Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in Remish. You will ensure that our customers receive excellent service, our staff is well-trained and motivated, and our restaurant is profitable. Your main duties will include managing staff schedules, ordering supplies, monitoring inventory levels, creating and implementing marketing strategies, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in the food and beverage industry. A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not required. You must also have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring smooth service
- Train and mentor new staff members to maintain high standards of service
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Implement cost-effective measures to increase profitability while maintaining quality standards
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Respond promptly to customer complaints or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers by enforcing health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or related field preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
