Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company. This includes maintaining accurate and timely financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide support to auditors during annual audits
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Make recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA designation or equivalent certification
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
with tight deadlines
- Prior experience managing a team
Salary: $1500 per month
