Electrician - Al-Khor, Qatar


We are currently hiring an experienced Electrician to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures, as well as experience with various tools and equipment used in the trade.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting fixtures, electrical appliances, and other components of electrical systems
- Inspect electrical systems for any potential hazards or issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing devices
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Stay updated on industry standards and new technologies in the field of electricity

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician (at least 3 years preferred)
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in the trade (e.g. pliers, wire strippers, voltmeter)
- Excellent critical thinking skills to diagnose issues and come up with effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate workmanship
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job (e.g. standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects)
- Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
