Office Assistant
The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office staff and ensuring the smooth operations of the office. This position is full-time and requires previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to email inquiries
- Manage office supplies, order stock when necessary, and keep inventory records
- Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar for the office staff
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance needs
- Update and maintain records in databases or spreadsheets
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or basic accounting tasks is a plus
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
Location:
This position is located in Manama. While we welcome all qualified applicants, preference will be given to individuals who are already based in Manama or willing to relocate at their own expense. This position is suitable for men.
