Senior Commercial Architect - Clairvaux



We are a dynamic and innovative architecture firm in Clairvaux seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Commercial Architect to join our team. As a Senior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of commercial buildings, ensuring they meet client requirements, building codes, and industry standards. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design process for commercial projects, including concept development, schematic design, and construction documentation
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for the project
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess the feasibility of proposed designs
- Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for commercial buildings
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
- Oversee the selection of materials and finishes for projects
- Review contractor bids and provide guidance during the construction phase
- Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met and quality is maintained
- Mentor junior architects on technical skills and provide guidance on complex projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Proven track record of successfully completing commercial projects within budgetary constraints
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
