Executive Chef

Our restaurant in Herzliya is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to oversee our kitchen operations. As the head of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing food inventory and ordering, and maintaining food quality and standards. This is a fast-paced role that requires a creative and organized individual with exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that showcase our restaurant's concept and vision
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and costing to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to meet customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation strategies
- Continuously research industry trends to incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food costing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop employees
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff as well as management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Certification in Food Safety/HACCP required
- Must be fluent in Hebrew (English language proficiency is an asset)

Salary: 1500$ (negotiable based on experience)
