Metal Fabrication Technician

We are searching for a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a Metal Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts according to specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge of metalworking processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and specifications of metal parts
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal using tools such as rulers and calipers
- Cut, bend, and shape metal pieces using various tools including saws, shears, presses, and grinders
- Weld or join metal pieces together using welding equipment
- Perform finishing operations such as grinding, sanding, and polishing on fabricated parts
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality standards
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or malfunctions to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabrication Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and working with various metalworking tools
- Ability to accurately measure dimensions using tools such as rulers and calipers
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training in metalworking or related field
- Certification in welding or other relevant trade certifications
