Chemical Engineer - Lusail, Qatar
We are hiring a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Chemical Engineer, you will use your expertise to design, develop and implement chemical processes in our company. Your main responsibility will be to oversee the production of chemicals and ensure their safety and quality. You will also conduct research and experiments to improve existing processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement chemical processes in accordance with industry standards
- Oversee the production of chemicals and ensure their safety and quality
- Conduct research and experiments to improve existing processes
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
- Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Control and Production to ensure efficient operations
- Keep updated with new technologies and developments in the field of chemical engineering
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or CHEMCAD is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
