Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of delicious pastries and desserts. You will use your creativity and knowledge of flavors to develop unique and visually appealing desserts that will delight our customers. Your role will also involve managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. You must have a passion for pastry making and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create new pastry recipes that align with our brand and meet customer expectations
- Prepare, bake, decorate, and present pastries and desserts according to recipes and standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed at all times
- Train and supervise pastry assistants to maintain consistency in quality
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items or special event offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Stay updated on current trends in pastry making techniques, ingredients, and presentation
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bakery setting
- Experience in creating unique pastry recipes using various techniques and ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Salary: $1700 per month
Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates
