Interpreter - Jerusalem, Israel


As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient translations between two or more languages. You will work closely with clients to ensure effective communication and understanding in a variety of settings such as business meetings, conferences, legal proceedings, and cultural events. This role requires excellent language skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to think on your feet.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate translations between languages in real-time
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Act as a liaison between parties who do not speak the same language
- Research unfamiliar terminology to ensure accurate translations
- Help clients understand cultural nuances and etiquette
- Adapt to different dialects, accents, and speaking styles
- Assist with document translations when necessary

Requirements:
- Fluent in at least two languages (including English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all languages
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Ability to multitask and think quickly on your feet
- Strong research skills to ensure accurate translations
- Bachelor's degree in linguistics or related field preferred (not required)
- Previous interpreting experience is a plus but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month. You will be working primarily during regular business hours but may be required to work evenings or weekends for special events. This position does not include accommodation.
