We are hiring a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at our busy retail store in Clairvaux. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cashier, strong math skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and provide them with prompt and friendly service
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to assist customers with their purchases
- Scan items and ensure accurate pricing
- Bag items carefully to prevent damage or breakage
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations

Requirements:
- Prior cashier experience preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong math skills to accurately process transactions and make change
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for operating the cash register system
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this full-time position.
