Junior Preservation Architect in Dickirch, Luxembourg
We are a renowned architectural firm seeking a motivated and creative Junior Preservation Architect to join our team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the preservation and restoration of historical buildings and structures. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for history and architecture to contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and historical context
- Assist in creating preservation plans in accordance with local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop design concepts for restoration projects
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Coordinate with contractors during construction phases to ensure adherence to preservation plans
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress of restoration projects
- Document all work and maintain accurate records of project details
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of preservation techniques and materials used in historical buildings
- Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines related to historic preservation
- Proficiency in architectural drafting software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1100 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
Location:
This position is located in Dickirch, Luxembourg. Candidates must have a valid biometric passport or be eligible to obtain one.
