Industrial Alpinist

As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in high-altitude and hard-to-reach areas, using specialized equipment and techniques. Your main duties will include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing structures such as bridges, dams, wind turbines, and communication towers. You will also be required to clean and paint surfaces, install ropes and safety systems, and assist with the construction of new structures.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of industrial safety standards and be physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and balance. You must also be comfortable working at great heights and in all weather conditions. Previous experience in industrial alpinism or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of structures to identify any potential hazards or issues
- Perform maintenance and repair work on various industrial structures using specialized tools
- Clean surfaces using pressure washers or chemical cleaners
- Apply protective coatings such as paint or sealants to prevent corrosion
- Install ropes, harnesses, and other safety systems to ensure the safety of yourself and your team members
- Assist with the construction of new structures by providing support from above
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; additional training in industrial alpinism is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial alpinism or related field
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and balance
- Comfortable working at great heights
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards
- Ability to use specialized tools for inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
