Cashier for Khasab City in Oman


We are in search of a responsible and experienced Cashier to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any questions or concerns
- Process customer transactions using cash registers or other electronic devices
- Ensure that all prices and quantities are accurate and that change is given correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, including stocking necessary supplies
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate to a manager as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or overages to management
- Adhere to food safety guidelines when handling cash for purchases of perishable items
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, providing recommendations, and offering assistance as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a cashier in a retail setting
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to provide friendly customer service
- Basic math skills with an ability to handle transactions accurately
- Attention to detail in order to keep track of inventory levels and prices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds if necessary
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines is preferred but not required
- Must have valid work permit or visa for Oman

Salary: 1400$ per month
