Data Mining Specialist

We are in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Specialist to join our growing team in Ashdod. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and mining, with experience in extracting valuable insights from large datasets. This role requires an analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with complex data sets. The Data Mining Specialist will be responsible for gathering and organizing data from various sources, using statistical methods and tools to identify patterns and trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders. This role also requires staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data mining techniques. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month, including accommodation and visa sponsorship if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting data from various sources and organizing it into usable formats.
- Using statistical methods to analyze large datasets.
- Identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies within the data.
- Creating visualizations of data for presentations to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, programming languages such as Python or R, and statistical analysis tools like SAS or SPSS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex problems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot patterns within large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field.
- Experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
