Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring that they maintain their cultural and architectural significance. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to develop preservation plans and oversee their implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings to identify preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies in accordance with local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of preservation plans
- Conducting research on historical buildings and materials to inform preservation decisions
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Overseeing restoration work, including coordinating with contractors and conducting site visits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong understanding of historical architecture styles and materials
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines for historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in English (Hebrew is a plus)
- Willingness to travel for project sites
Salary: $1200 per month (with potential for growth)
Location: Ashdod, Israel (with visa sponsorship available)
