Information Security Analyst


Our fast-growing technology company is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Umm-Salal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information and systems from potential cyber attacks and security breaches. You will work closely with our IT team to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to any security incidents. The ideal candidate will have experience in information security, knowledge of industry best practices, and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month, including accommodation. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of our systems and networks to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard our organization's information assets
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts
- Investigate any reported or suspected security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards
- Provide training and guidance to employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or CIS controls
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred
