Contract Accountant in Ashdod, Israel

We are currently hiring a Contract Accountant to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This is a contract position, without accommodation provided and requires the employee to have their own valid visa for working in Israel.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Conduct regular audits of financial records
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payments
- Provide financial analysis and support to management team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Ashdod, Israel (must already have valid visa for working in Israel)
