Job Title: Shaper - Nairobi, Kenya


We are in need of a skilled Shaper to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and smoothing various materials such as wood, metal or plastic to create finished products. Your main goal will be to produce high-quality items that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or design plans to determine materials needed and shaping process
- Use hand and power tools to shape and smooth materials
- Operate machines such as lathes, routers or saws to achieve desired shapes
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments as needed to ensure products meet specifications
- Follow all safety protocols while working with tools and machinery
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of material properties and shaping techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with operating machines such as lathes, routers or saws
- Attention to detail with strong quality control skills
- Good physical stamina and strength required for working with heavy materials/tools
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus
