Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our renowned bakery in Sheduva. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, from creating new and innovative recipes to managing inventory and training staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry recipes that align with current trends and meet customer preferences
- Manage inventory and ensure proper ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Train and mentor pastry staff, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of pastries to our retail locations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with other department heads to plan menus for special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, pastries, and desserts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and flavors
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred but not required. Experience can be substituted.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting
- Fluent in English (Lithuanian language skills is a plus)
Salary:
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month.
