Contract Typesetter in Siauliai

Our publishing company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our team in Siauliai. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and graphics to create visually appealing and error-free documents. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to typeset various documents including books, brochures, and magazines
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure all text is correctly formatted and free of any spelling or grammatical errors
- Adjust layout and design elements to meet publication specifications
- Prepare final files for printing or digital distribution
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or LaTeX
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout design, and printing processes
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text formatting
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
