Plasterer - Contract Position

Our contracting company is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team in Clairvaux on an urgent basis. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$, and accommodation will be provided. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their craft and willing to learn on the job.

As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing and applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. This includes mixing and applying plaster materials, smoothing and leveling surfaces, and creating decorative finishes. You should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

This position is open to both experienced Plasterers as well as those without previous experience. However, preference will be given to candidates with some knowledge or training in plastering techniques. We are also willing to provide training for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate for this role should have good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions. You should also have strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by removing old plaster or paint
- Mix plaster materials according to instructions
- Apply plaster using hand tools or spray equipment
- Smooth and level surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Create decorative finishes such as stucco or textured patterns
- Repair damaged areas using patching materials
- Clean up work area after completing job

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in plastering or related field (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
