Web Developer - Acre, Israel


We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Web Developer to join our team in Acre, Israel. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our specifications. You will also strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and building websites from concept to completion.
- Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Creating and maintaining software documentation.
- Maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites as needed.
- Staying updated on emerging trends in web development and actively researching new technologies.

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to translate designs into functional websites.
- Proficient with HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery/AJAX/Bootstrap.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Web Developer
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in web development
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
