Light Delivery Driver in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced and reliable Light Delivery Driver to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations within the city. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month, along with accommodation provided. We are looking for an English-speaking individual who is familiar with the roads and traffic laws in Nairobi.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a light delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle in a safe and organized manner
- Inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues or damages before and after each trip
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle at all times
- Keep track of delivery records and report any discrepancies or delays
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other drivers on the road

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for light vehicles (Class B)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- Familiarity with Nairobi roads and traffic laws
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to handle physical demands of loading/unloading goods (up to 50lbs)
- Flexibility to work on weekends or outside of regular working hours if needed
