Glazier Technician

A reputable glass company in Remish is seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glazing and possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. As a Glazier Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass in residential and commercial settings. This is a contract position with the possibility of long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other structures
- Measure and cut glass to specific sizes
- Remove old or broken glass and clean the area before installing new glass
- Use tools such as cutters, pliers, saws, drills, and grinders to shape glass
- Apply weatherproofing sealant around edges of installed glass
- Follow safety protocols when working at heights or with heavy equipment
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for the best solutions
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary materials for each project

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a glazier technician or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Familiarity with various tools used in glazing work
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or scaffolding for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical plans accurately

Salary: $900/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Remish (accommodation provided)

Preference given to Indian nationals studying or recently graduated from a glazing program. This is an English-speaking job but knowledge of local language would be an asset.
