Glazier - Glass Installation Technician


As a Glazier – Glass Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and storefronts. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as well as physical strength and endurance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions
- Install glass into frames using tools such as suction cups, putty, and sealants
- Remove broken or damaged glass and replace it with new pieces
- Repair or replace any damaged frames or hardware
- Ensure proper alignment and sealing of glass for energy efficiency and safety
- Operate equipment such as drills, saws, and grinders to prepare surfaces for installation
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of glass, their properties, and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow measurements accurately
- Physical strength and endurance to handle large sheets of glass
- Attention to detail with a high level of precision in workmanship
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school diploma or apprenticeship in glazing or related field
- Biometric passport
Location: Remish (Nepali-speaking candidates preferred)
Salary: 1700$ per month (part-time options available)
Accommodation: Provided (shared housing with other employees)
