Data Mining Analyst



We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will help inform business decisions. This position requires a strong background in mathematics and statistics, as well as proficiency in data mining software and programming languages. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets and be able to effectively communicate their findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns or trends
- Develop predictive models using data mining techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights from data analysis
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in data mining techniques and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analysis role
- Proficiency in SQL, R or Python for querying databases and manipulating large datasets
- Experience with data mining software such as RapidMiner or SAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Vianden, Luxembourg

This is a full-time position but part-time arrangements can be considered for exceptional candidates. Applicants must have the right to work in Luxembourg without any restrictions.
