Executive Chef for Seasonal Restaurant in Clairvaux, France
We are a seasonal restaurant located in the beautiful city of Clairvaux, France. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team during our busy season. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high quality and efficient service
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to maintain budget
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management on special events and promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Fluent in English (French language skills preferred but not required)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes while maintaining consistency in taste and quality
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
