Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and controls used in industrial and manufacturing processes. You will work with a team of technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment to meet production demands.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, transmitters, and control valves
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Work closely with engineers to understand equipment specifications and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments and maintain inventory levels of spare parts
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
- Train new technicians on instrument maintenance procedures as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Diploma or certificate in instrumentation technology or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of different types of industrial instruments and their functions
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze problems and find solutions quickly
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions if required
Salary:
Salary for this position starts at 1200$ per month.
Location:
This job is based in Riyadh but applicants from India or Nepal are preferred.
