Baker for Traditional Malayalee Bakery in Salalah

We are a traditional Malayalee bakery located in Salalah, seeking an experienced Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Malayalee baked goods such as parathas, appams, and vattilappams. You must have a deep understanding of Malayalee cuisine and be able to incorporate traditional ingredients and techniques into your baking.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to traditional recipes
- Roll, shape, and bake various types of breads, snacks, and sweets
- Decorate and present finished products in an appealing manner
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure quality products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Order supplies as needed and keep track of inventory levels

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Baker, preferably in a Malayalee bakery setting
- Knowledge of traditional Malayalee ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Ability to read recipes and follow instructions accurately
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: Starting at $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Salalah (accommodation not provided)
