Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Hawalli, Kuwait)
We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Executive Chef to lead our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Hawalli, Kuwait. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and creating exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for food and creativity, as well as excellent management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and new dishes in collaboration with the restaurant owner
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff to ensure high quality food production
- Control food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Create schedules and assign tasks to kitchen staff based on business needs
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine is preferred
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Salary: $1500 per month (tax-free)
Location: Hawalli, Kuwait
