Chef de Cuisine

Our upscale restaurant in Al Buraymi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as excellent leadership and management skills. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene. We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment. This position is open to all African nationals with previous experience working as a chef.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create menus that are both creative and align with our restaurant's concept
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection
- Train and manage kitchen staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest ingredients
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a chef or sous chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire your team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
