Job Title: Senior Accountant


A reputable accounting firm in Muscat is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This contract position is open to candidates from any nationality, however, preference will be given to Indian nationals. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our clients and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports for clients.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Develop budgets and forecasts for clients.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to clients.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations.
- Train and supervise junior accountants.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English proficiency required).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Biometric passport is preferred.

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
